Words of Wisdom and Parables from Minister Alaina

Malachi is the 49th Book in the New Testament. The Prophet main concern is to call priest, and people to renew their faithfulnesss to their conventant with God.  Priest and people are cheating God by not giving him the offerings that are rightly due him, and by not living according to his teaching.
Judging Others, Matthew C7, v1 reads: Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others.  Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye?

"God Can't Bless Mess!"  If you are in a situation, a marriage and or relationship and you are wondering why things are not going the way you want them to go or you think they should go. Stop, and think about everything that you are doing or you may have done that does not align with God.  If you have lied, manipulated, deceived or stole from someone, then it does not align with God. Therefore your situation, your marriage or relationship will not work in the favor you want it to work in. We honor and serve a God of Intergity!

Galatians C6, v7 reads: Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant.
(This means: If you plot deceit, you will receive deceit, if you manipulate someone-you will be manipulated by that person or someone, if you steal from someone-someone will steal from you, if you lie to someone-someone will lie to you. If you hide your skeletons in your closet as if you have done nothing and paint a picture as if you are perfect-then one day your skeletons will be revealed.)

Proverbs C10, v9 reads: Honest people are safe and secure but dishonest will be caught.
v16 reads, The reward for doing good is life but sin lead to more sin.

Proverbs C11, v17 reads: You do yourself a favor when you are kind, if you are cruel, you only hurt yourself.
v25 reads Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others and you will be helped.
v28 reads, Those who depend on their wealth will fall like the leaves of autumn, but the righteous will prosper like the leaves of summer.

Proverbs C12, v17 reads: When you tell the truth, justice is done, but lies leads to injustice.

Proverbs C14, v2 reads:  Be honest and you show that you have reverence for the Lord; be dishonest and you show that you do not.
v17 reads People with a hot temper do foolish things; wiser people remain calm.
v33 reads Wisdom is every thought of intelligent people; fools know nothing about wisdom.

Proverbs C15, v28 reads: When good people pray, the Lord listens, but he ignores those who are evil.

Proverbs C16, v1 reads: We may make our plans, but God has the last word.
v2, reads You may think everything you do is right, but God judges your motives.

Proverbs C17, v5 reads: If you make fun of poor people, you will insult the God who made them. You will be punished if you take pleasure in someone's misfortune.
v7, reads Respected people do not tell lies, and fools have nothing worthwhile to say.

Proverbs C18, v1 reads: People who do not get along with others are interested only in themselves; they will disagree with what everyone else knows is right.
v4 reads A person's words can be a source of wisdom, deep as the ocean, fresh as a flowing stream

Proverbs C19, v21 reads: People may plan all kinds of things but the Lord's will is going to be done.

Proverbs C23, v9 reads: Be generous and share your food with the poor. You will be blessed for it.

Proverbs C27, v23 reads: People with quick tempers cause alot of quarreling and trouble
v1 reads Never boast about tomorrow, you don't know what will happen between now and then.

Proverbs C28, v1 reads: Be honest and you will be safe. If you are dishonest, you will suddenly fall.

Proverbs C29, v23 reads: People with quick tempers cause alot of quarreling and trouble.

Proverbs C31, v8 reads: Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless. Speak for them and be a righeous judge. Protect the rights of the poor and needy.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is Tuesday February 21, 2012
In the Beginning,The story of Mardi Gras in New Orleans is intertwined with the history of itself.  On March 3, 1699, French-Canadian explorer Pierre Le Moyne, sieur d' lberville, acting on behalf of the French crown, stopped on the west bank of the Missippi River about sixty miles south of presentday New Orleans and named that spot Point du Mardi Gras in honor of the European holiday.  Thus began Louisiana's celebration of its world-famous fete.

What is Mardi Gras?Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday," the day before Lent & the culmination of the Carnival season.  The season officially begins on January 6, which is Twelfth Night or Epiphany, the feast day that commemorates the coming of the Magi.  The word Carnival comes from carnelevare, which means to "leave off meat." During the medieval period & later, the Christian church forbade a number of practices during Lent, including meat consumption & marriage.  Carnival developed as a last fling before a period of fasting.  It was strongest in the Mediterranean region-especially in Italy, Spain, & France - although Germany, England, & Russia also celebrated it.  Mardi Gras or "Fat Tuesday" falls on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and 47 days before the Resurrection Day.
